Flow Training Centre is a family oriented training facility specializing in Parkour, Martial Arts, and Acrobatics. The 3,000 square foot facility houses a martial arts floor, safety pads, hard and soft obstacles, seating areas, washrooms, physio clinic, and a weight room.

Carl Fortin starred in one of the world’s first viral parkour videos, a Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) commercial six years ago. Since then he’s been in over 30 films/TV shows, including Hannibal, Arrow, Resident Evil, and 500+ live stage performances including The Juno Awards, MAC Cosmetics, and The Venetian Casino & Hotel Macau.
A fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Carl started his martial arts training in Taekwondo at the age of 5 and attained his black belt at the age of 7 under Grand Master Oh Jang Yoon (9th Dan). As a teenager, Carl competed heavily and achieved 2 junior national medals and later earned a spot on the Canadian Forces National Taekwondo team.
Ninja Instructor and Administrator
Serena Ly graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelors of Commerce majoring in Law & Business. Serena started her martial arts training in Wushu where it inspired her to also learn acrobatics, karate, and weapons (bo staff, straight sword, and nunchucks). In her university career, she began expanding her training by joining the Ryerson Cheerleading Team. She later on travelled to Thailand to learn Muay Thai and Krabi Krabong.
She is the head instructor of the Ninja Level 1 program. She has also earned her black belt in WTF Taekwondo under Master Joe Wagner and Carl Fortin.
Serena is now a professional stunt performer.
Taekwondo and Ninja Instructor
Josee Parent is an Instructor and Administrator for Ninja Training. She started her Taekwondo training in 1989 where she earned a Bronze and a Silver Medial at the Canadian Olympic Taekwondo Team Trials. In 1995, she opened her first martial arts school in Ontario. She further expanded her studies in the art of Hapkido, Aikido, Kuk Sool Won, and Aikibudo. In 2002, Josee joined the Canadian Military Forces, during which she received the Queen’s Jubilee medal from Her Majesty the Queen for her continuous dedication to helping communities across Canada. She recently retired from the military where she was a recipient of the Canadian Forces Physical Award for Aerobic Excellence.
Ninja Assistant Instructor
Annmarie Shrimpton is an active outdoor enthusiast who studied Adventure Tourism at TRU in Kamloops. She is an avid rock climber, mountain biker, hiker and trail runner. Annmarie has competed in several trail races including the Squamish 23km and most recently the Red Bull 400 in Whistler Olympic Park. She has shared her knowledge of trail running in various meet up run groups and has taught clinics on the importance of proper running form.
